The owners of EDIMART Interpreting and Translation Agency have been providing professional interpreting and translation services since 1994. Edimart is a family-run business under the management of Márta Balázs interpreter and Edit Balázs economist.

Our agency provided 54 simultaneous interpreters in 5 language pairs for the 30th World Congress of Vine and Wine held in Budapest, and we also provided 22 simultaneous interpreters in 12 language pairs at the FRONTEX Board Meeting. We offer the following services: simultaneous, consecutive and ad-hoc interpreting and the translation of written material in any professional field. Our aim is to provide high standards at reasonable prices and with excellent references.
We translate material such as contracts, annual reports, business plans, court rulings and decisions, European Union documents, tenders, websites, presentations, mechanical specifications, brochures, and textbooks.
We interpret at conferences, business meetings, European Union functions, official and private engagements, exhibitions, cultural events, training sessions, lectures, and weddings.
Edimart regularly assists various companies in their day-to-day communication and correspondence tasks, offering them extensive, fast, accurate and reliable written and oral communication services.
Our agency is a member of the Association of Hungarian Translation Companies, and we provide professional liability insurance.
We also use Trados and MemoQ Computer Assisted Translation software, which allow us to produce faster and increasingly uniform high quality translations, while at the same time reducing working time and costs.
Good work requires time and expertise. We do not believe in deluding our clients by offering them instantaneous deadlines or unrealistically low prices. At the same time the work we undertake is always well managed and performed at the highest level by reliable and experienced interpreters and translators, while adhering to special deadlines or requests if necessary.
Our translators and interpreters all have university degrees and necessary language qualifications, not to mention considerable experience. We choose our colleagues on the basis of very strict criteria; we keep an eye on their performance and provide them with support during their preparation for the tasks at hand.
Helping the work of our office managers, our translating and interpreting activities are coordinated by project managers, who keep in touch with our clients as well as the assigned interpreters. They keep an eye on the performance of the task and make sure all deadlines and requirements are met.
